PGL Masters Bucharest 2026: Closed Qualifier Participants Announced

The organizers of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 have announced the list of teams that received direct invitations to the closed qualifiers. The $1,250,000 tournament itself will take place in the Romanian capital from October 24 to 31. Most of the world’s top teams, including Natus Vincere, Team Vitality, Team Spirit and G2 Esports, have already confirmed their participation in the main event, while the only top team to skip the tournament is Team Falcons.

Qualifier Schedule and Format

The qualification process begins with open qualifiers, which will take place from September 3 to 6. Based on their results, four teams from Europe, North America and South America will earn spots in the closed qualifiers, while Asia and Oceania will receive two spots each.

The closed qualifiers in Europe and the Americas will take place from September 9 to 12. In Asia and Oceania, the regional closed qualifiers will be held on September 9–10 and will conclude with a final tournament for the region’s single APAC slot on September 13. A total of four participants for the main event will be determined through the closed qualifiers — one each from Europe, North America, South America and APAC.

• North America: Team Liquid, NRG, Chicken Coop, Voca (+4 open qualifier winners).
• South America: paiN Gaming, DENDELE, ShindeN, Galorys (+4 open qualifier winners).
• Oceania: FlyQuest, LFO 8 (+2 open qualifier winners).
• East Asia: TYLOO, 5star (+2 open qualifier winners).
• West Asia: DEPO, Legion (+2 open qualifier winners).
