October 25 will see the second day of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 in Counter-Strike 2 take place in Bucharest. After the opening round of the Swiss stage, the matchups for the second round have been determined, with NAVI vs. FURIA set to be the highlight for Ukrainian fans.
The tournament is taking place from October 24 to 31 in Bucharest. Sixteen teams are competing for a $1.25 million prize pool, while the results will also play an important role in the race for invitations to PGL Major Singapore 2026.
NAVI made a successful start in Bucharest by defeating G2 2:0. The Ukrainian club won Nuke 13:11, while on Dust2 they secured victory only after three overtimes — 22:19. As a result, NAVI moved into the 1-0 pool.
In the second round, the “Born to Win” will face FURIA. The Brazilian side also started the tournament with a victory.
This will be a significantly tougher test for NAVI. FURIA arrived in Bucharest immediately after winning the Thunderpick World Championship 2026, where the Brazilians were crowned champions. The team is also fighting for important positions in the VRS ahead of the determination of the PGL Major Singapore participants.
The FURIA — NAVI match is scheduled for 19:00 Kyiv time.
The teams with 0-1 records will be the first to take the server. At 10:00 Kyiv time, Spirit — TYLOO and FUT — Liquid will face off. The winners of the first round will have a chance to improve their position, while for the teams that suffered a defeat, their upcoming matches will already carry increased importance.
At 13:00, two more matchups will begin — Vitality — The MongolZ and BETBOOM — Nemiga. The Vitality match will be particularly interesting, as the team is playing with stand-in jL instead of apEX.
At 16:00, G2 — Aurora and MOUZ — 9z will take place. For G2, this will be an opportunity to bounce back after their loss to NAVI and return to a positive record.
The final matches of the day will be FURIA — NAVI and Legacy — DENDELE. Both series will start at 19:00 Kyiv time.
The Swiss stage of PGL Masters Bucharest will continue until October 28. Teams need to secure three wins to advance to the playoffs, while three losses will result in elimination from the tournament.
A total of eight teams will advance to the playoffs. There, they will continue their run in a single-elimination format, with the grand final on October 31 played as a Best-of-5.
For NAVI, the second day will be particularly important. After defeating G2, the team has already taken a step in the right direction in the race for a spot at PGL Major Singapore. Now, the Ukrainian side will have to overcome a significantly tougher opponent — the reigning Thunderpick World Championship champions.
