Amin “Prime” Mekri, co-founder of the French esports organization Karmine Corp, has announced the sale of his stake in the club. He plans to focus on other projects. According to him, “the right time” has come to leave the organization.

“After five years of building Karmine Corp, I’ve decided to sell my shares and move on. The project has grown incredibly. I’m proud of everything we’ve achieved, but it’s time for me to turn the page. I wish the team and the community all the best in the future,” Prime said in a statement.

According to a report by RFT.GG, Prime’s stake was acquired by an investor who had already joined the organization during a funding round in October 2023.

Mekri founded Karmine Corp in 2020 together with Kamel “Kameto” Kebir and Zouhair “Kotei” Dardji.

As a reminder, Russians and Belarusians will not participate in the Esports Nations Cup.
