The store Ігромаг announced that the print run of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. board game, which was expected to go on sale soon, was destroyed in a fire. The information was published on the store’s Facebook page.

According to the statement, the truck transporting the shipment caught fire after passing customs control. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

The store apologized to customers and stated that it is working on the next steps to ensure the game reaches sale as soon as possible.

“The shipment of the ‘S.T.A.L.K.E.R.’ board game and its expansions, which we had been waiting for after customs clearance in Ukraine, was destroyed in a fire over the weekend.

We know how eagerly many of you were waiting for this game. That is why it is especially difficult for us to write this after all the previous updates, after the news that the game had already arrived in Ukraine, and when there was so little time left before you could finally hold it in your hands.

Right now, we need a bit more time. We are gathering all the necessary information, considering the next steps, and developing an action plan, which we will share with you immediately.

And we are truly sorry that these are the kind of news you have to read right now.”
