PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2026 Season 1 is set to be one of the biggest mobile esports events of the summer. This time, the world's PUBG Mobile elite will travel to Jakarta, Indonesia, to compete at the prestigious Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan.
A total of 32 teams will battle for the title of PMGO Season 1 champion. For Ukrainian fans, the tournament will be particularly exciting as a Ukrainian organization will be among the participants.
The tournament will be held over six days, from June 2 to June 7, 2026.
The event is divided into three main stages:

The tournament features a total prize pool of $500,000.
In addition to prize money, teams will compete for valuable PMGC Points, which are crucial for qualification to the year's premier event, the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC).
The tournament winner will claim the largest share of the prize pool and earn 75 PMGC Points.
PMGO 2026 offers no room for a slow start, demanding peak performance from teams right from the opening match.
The second day of the Grand Finals will feature the Smash Rule. Once a team reaches a predetermined points threshold, it becomes eligible to win the championship. To secure the title, that team simply needs to finish first in one of the subsequent matches.

The tournament brings together 32 teams from around the world that successfully qualified through regional competitions.
Among the confirmed participants are several regional powerhouses, including Team Flash (Vietnam), eArena (Thailand), RRQ RYU (Indonesia), and Bigetron by Vitality (Indonesia).
However, the biggest story for Ukrainian fans is the participation of Boars Gaming. The Ukrainian esports organization successfully earned its place at the international LAN event and will now have the opportunity to compete against some of the strongest teams from Asia, Europe, and the Americas in pursuit of a world championship title.
As previously reported, PUBG MOBILE has announced a major collaboration with the national football teams of Argentina and Portugal.
