PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 Kicks Off in Paris

From August 6 to 16, 2026, the international PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 tournament will take place in Paris at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles arena. The mid-season event in Squads TPP mode is organized by KRAFTON, Level Infinite, and the Esports Foundation. The competition was originally planned to be held in Riyadh, but on May 20, the venue was moved to the capital of France. The Honor Magic7 Pro will serve as the tournament's official smartphone.

The total prize pool for the event is $3,025,000. A total of 32 teams from around the world will participate in the tournament, including Team Vitality, DRX, S2G Esports, FURIA, Alpha7, Team Flash, RRQ, Nigma Galaxy, GodLike Esports, Tianba, Aurora, and the invited team Yangon Galactic.

The tournament is divided into three consecutive stages:

• Group Stage (August 6–9): 32 teams are divided into 2 groups of 16 teams each. Each group will play 12 matches. The top 5 teams from each group (10 total) advance directly to the Grand Finals, teams placed 6th through 13th move to the Survival Stage, and the bottom 3 teams from each group are eliminated from the tournament.
• Survival Stage (August 11–12): 16 teams will play 12 matches. The top 6 teams will advance to the Grand Finals, while the remaining 10 teams at the end of the stage are eliminated from the competition.
• Grand Finals (August 14–16): 16 finalists (10 from the Group Stage and 6 from the Survival Stage) will compete for the main trophy. Up to 18 matches will take place over three days, with the Smash Rule being applied on the third day.

On each match day, teams will play 6 matches on a fixed map schedule: the first match on Rondo, the next three on Erangel, and the final two on Miramar.

The majority of the prize pool is awarded in the Grand Finals ($1,700,000):

• 1st place: $500,000
• 2nd place: $250,000
• 3rd place: $150,000

Additionally, the prize pool is distributed between the Survival Stage ($152,000 total) and the Group Stage ($574,000 per group), with the tournament's most valuable player receiving a personal award of $25,000.
