In Rainbow Six Siege, the Stage 2 regional tournament series is kicking off to determine the participants for the upcoming Osaka Major 2026. The Major itself will take place in Japan from November 6 to 15, featuring 20 of the world's best teams. In addition to direct spots in Osaka, participants will compete for crucial Six Invitational points (SI Points) required to qualify for the 2026 World Championship.
The qualification tournaments are taking place across seven esports regions throughout September and the first half of October. The competitive format features a round-robin group stage with Best-of-1 matches, from which the top six teams in each region advance to a double-elimination playoff bracket with Best-of-3 matches. High placements in regional standings award SI Points, with the top four teams receiving 420, 300, 250, and 200 points, respectively.
The slots for the Osaka tournament are allocated among the regions as follows:
Primary attention is traditionally focused on the three leading regions. In South America, FaZe Clan — reigning EWC 2026 champions and back-to-back Six Invitational winners — alongside EWC runners-up FURIA, remain the favorites. In North America, Salt Lake City Major 2026 champions DarkZero and Munich Major 2025 winners M80 will battle for berths. Meanwhile, European teams G2 Esports, Falcons, and Team Secret will look to regain their footing after a string of inconsistent performances.
In other regions, the main favorites include EDward Gaming and KINGZERO eSports in China, CAG by VARREL in Asia-Pacific North, as well as ENTERPRISE Esports and Chiefs Esports Club in Oceania. Match broadcasts are available on official Rainbow Six Esports channels on Twitch and YouTube, where viewers can earn up to 66 Twitch Drops esports packs, including a thematic bundle for operator Glaz, from September 3 to October 2.
