North American esports organization 100 Thieves is in active negotiations with Ukrainian club Monte regarding the transfer of Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen to its CS2 roster. The information was reported by HLTV sources.
Gizmy is expected to become the new captain of 100 Thieves. Current in-game leader Håvard "rain" Nygaard is set to transition into a different role within the lineup.
The potential transfer comes amid a complete rebuild of Monte. Earlier the same day, HLTV reported that the team's core consisting of Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras, Oscar "AZUWU" Bell, and Aurélien "afro" Drapier was in talks over a free transfer to Luminosity, while Alex "Rainwaker" Petrov could also join them as part of a full buyout deal.
