Luminosity is set to return to the Counter-Strike scene after a seven-year absence. According to Dust2.us, the organization is expected to make its debut with a new roster at XSE Pro League 2026. An official announcement is expected in the near future.

The new Luminosity lineup will consist of four players acquired from the Ukrainian organization Monte, along with Lucas lux Meneghini. The Brazilian is already with the team in Guangzhou, China, where he will take over as the in-game leader. He replaces Jack Gizmy von Spreckelsen, who is reportedly set to join 100 Thieves in the near future.

As a result of the transfer, the Canadian organization will inherit Monte's 17th place in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS).

HLTV insider Luís "MIRAA" Mira was the first to report the organization's return. According to his information, the players' contracts with Monte were nearing expiration, and they had informed the Ukrainian organization's management in advance of their plans to move on.
