Riot Games has released the patch notes for VALORANT 12.03

Riot Games has published the details of patch 12.03 for VALORANT. The developers have made changes to Gekko and introduced a new temporary mode.

Agent Updates

Gekko is the only agent who received changes in this patch. The developers noted that patch 11.08 significantly weakened him, so they standardized the functionality of his abilities and provided more flexibility.

• Globules: The orb pickup time has been increased from 15 to 20 seconds.
• Mosh Pit: It can now be retrieved after use.

New voice lines have also been added for Viper, including interactions with Omen and Vyse.

General and Competitive Updates

• Sound occlusion will now react to doors on maps when they are opened, closed, or destroyed.
• Accounts flagged for account sharing, as well as all players ranked Ascendant and above in the APAC region, are now required to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) via Riot Mobile.
• A new setting has been added that allows players to skip spectating dead teammates.

New Temporary Mode

A limited-time 2v2 Skirmish mode will be available.

Features: Compact maps, no abilities — pure gunplay only.
Format: First to 10 round wins.
Weapons: Full weapon selection every round (no economy).
Maps: Skirmish A, B, and C (selected randomly).

Additionally, adjustments were made to the All Random One Site mode, and a bug was fixed where Vyse could place an infinite number of Razorvines during the buy phase.

Masters Santiago Pick’Ems

The prediction system returns for the Masters Santiago tournament. Predictions can be made in the game client or on the website starting February 19.

Rewards:

• Cachando Todo title — for participation.
• ¡Rico, Po! Buddy gun buddy — for players ranked in the top 50% and top 20%.
• Perfect title — for a perfectly predicted tournament bracket.
