Tournament organizer BLAST has announced that the Russian team PV will not participate in the LAN stage of the BLAST Slam VII Dota 2 tournament in Copenhagen, Denmark. The team encountered visa issues and has therefore withdrawn from the championship.

As a result, Team Liquid have secured a playoff spot as the highest-ranked team by tiebreak criteria among those that initially failed to qualify for the playoffs. BB Team, who were originally set to begin the playoffs in the quarterfinals, have been promoted to PV's position in the semifinals.

Team Liquid will now start their playoff campaign in the quarterfinals against Team Falcons.

The BLAST Slam VII playoffs will take place from June 4 to June 7. The tournament features a total prize pool of $1 million.

As previously reported, SLONIK discussed Wolves' preparation for PMGO S1, stating that the team's primary focus was on improving its own gameplay.
