Scuf has officially revealed the new Scuf Omega controller designed for Sony PlayStation 5 consoles. The device is also compatible with PC, Mac, iOS, and Android, focusing on low latency, deep customization, and competitive gaming features.

Scuf Omega features a total of 28 inputs, including 11 extra programmable controls. These include four rear paddles, two side buttons, and five G Keys, allowing players to perform key actions without taking their fingers off the thumbsticks.
The controller uses Omron mechanical switches for the D Pad, action buttons, and triggers, similar to the technology found in premium gaming mice. It also includes Instant Triggers with adjustable modes for either ultra short clicks in shooters or full analog control in racing games.
One of Omega’s main highlights is its magnetic TMR thumbsticks with non contact sensing technology. According to Scuf, they offer higher precision, improved durability, and better resistance to stick drift. Players can also swap thumbstick caps with different shapes and heights to match their preferred playstyle.

The Scuf Mobile App for iOS and Android allows users to create multiple profiles, adjust trigger and stick sensitivity, configure deadzones, manage audio settings, and save presets directly to the controller.

Scuf says Omega was developed using more than 15 years of feedback from professional players. The controller features an ergonomic non slip grip, while vibration motors were removed to reduce weight and eliminate distractions during competitive gameplay.
Scuf Omega weighs 254 grams and supports USB Type C, Bluetooth, and wireless USB dongle connectivity. The company also claims a 1000 Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes.
Sales of Scuf Omega have already started, with the controller priced at $220.
