The company announced the purchase of Unbound. Both Unbound and Shift Up had been teasing a joint announcement for some time, dropping various hints in their recent social media posts.
Thanks to this deal, Shift Up has “integrated world-class development talent and expanded its lineup of upcoming projects for PC and consoles.” The company also plans to publish future Unbound titles directly, while continuing to strengthen its global publishing capabilities.
As a reminder, Roblox, Fortnite, and Minecraft have been hit with a new lawsuit alleging they promote addiction.
