Rumors are actively spreading in the esports community and finding increasing confirmation: the renowned organization Team Falcons is likely leaving the Dota 2 discipline entirely. As evidenced by a screenshot of insider discussions, information about the division's closure has already been corroborated by several sources.

The primary reason for such an unexpected move is cited as financial. Maintaining the current roster has become too burdensome for the organization's budget due to the exceptionally high prices of player contracts. Instead of sustaining this division, management decided to reallocate resources and sign a new roster in the shooter Valorant.
It is worth noting that this is not the first high-profile departure in the professional scene this year. Previously, a similar decision was made by another highly decorated organization — The International champions, Tundra Esports. They were also forced to shut down their Dota 2 roster specifically due to the inflated costs of maintaining it.
The current situation vividly demonstrates the harsh realities of the modern market. As we can see, even financially powerful Arab sheikhs are not willing to retain blatantly unprofitable teams and continue investing hundreds of thousands of dollars into contracts that are not economically viable.
