South Korea’s national team may հրաժuse to participate in the Esports National Cup 2026. The reason is a conflict between the Korea Esports Association (KeSPA) and the tournament organizers — the Esports Foundation.
According to Seoul Sports, the ENC organizers allegedly attempted to indirectly influence the formation of the Korean roster by promoting certain players. KeSPA, which is known for its strict and transparent selection criteria for national teams, viewed this as грубе interference in its internal affairs.
An esports official familiar with the situation sharply criticized the actions of the Esports Foundation:
“Interfering in the formation of a national team is going too far. Every country has its own system, and such actions show a lack of respect. Despite the tournament’s large media scale, I doubt whether Korea should participate at all.”
Although there has been no official statement about a withdrawal yet, fans noticed that over the past weekend the official ENC website quietly removed the page dedicated to the South Korean national team.

As a reminder, all participants of BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City 2026 have been determined.
