Unknown Worlds is preparing a major update for Subnautica 2. The upcoming content will introduce a new region featuring several biomes, further story developments, new creatures, and additional modules for the Tadpole submarine.
The developers are also reworking the AI of the Collector leviathan. New behavioral patterns will make the creature more aggressive and a greater threat to players exploring the underwater world.
Alongside the announcement, the team has launched a new development vlog series titled “Voyage to Early Access 2.” Creative Director Anthony Gallegos will introduce upcoming episodes, highlight the developers who will appear in them, and offer early glimpses of the next major content update.
Players can discuss the future of Subnautica 2 on the game's official Discord server. They can also submit suggestions and vote for features they would like to see added through Nolt.io.
