Esports organization T1 has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Republic of Korea Navy (ROK Navy). The goal of this unusual partnership is to leverage T1’s expertise in gaming technology to help develop naval simulations and tactical training programs.
Under the agreement, T1 will share knowledge in areas such as game mechanics, strategic analysis, and simulation technologies. The ROK Navy plans to integrate elements of esports-style training and high-tech simulations into its educational programs to enhance tactical thinking and decision-making speed among personnel.
The partnership also aims to boost the appeal of naval service among younger generations and esports fans.
