Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has suggested that the L.A. Noire franchise could make a comeback in the future.
Speaking at a developer event in Las Vegas, Zelnick confirmed that the company is considering doing more with the series.
«We’re broadly looking at doing something in the future with all of our intellectual property», — he said.
At the same time, he stressed that there is nothing specific to announce right now.
«As for L.A. Noire, there’s nothing to announce, and if there were, it would come from Rockstar Games, not me. But when it comes to our catalog, our teams are always reviewing what we have and thinking about it. The question is whether we currently have a team that’s passionate about taking it on».
Originally released in May 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, L.A. Noire later launched on PC. The game follows LAPD detective Cole Phelps as he investigates a series of crimes across Los Angeles, including a major drug trafficking operation.
The title received positive reviews and had sold over 7.5 million copies by 2017. It was later re-released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, alongside a VR adaptation titled L.A. Noire The VR Case Files.

As a Reminder, VALORANT Patch 12.08: New Ascension Mode and the Return of Ascent.
