Team Liquid has won the Apex Legends Global Series 2026 Split 2 Playoffs. In the Grand Final, held on November 1 in Las Vegas, the team scored 91 points to claim the championship title. The roster received $600,000 from the tournament’s $2 million prize pool.
The final stage of the tournament followed the Match Point format. Teams had to earn at least 50 points to become eligible to compete for the championship. However, reaching this threshold did not guarantee victory — teams still had to win one of the subsequent matches.
Team Liquid gradually accumulated points throughout the final series. The team reached Match Point in the seventh game, but the competition was far from over. Team Vision and Forged Wolves remained among the main contenders, with both teams still having a chance to claim the title.
In the eighth game, Team Liquid finished third. The decisive match was the ninth game on Storm Point. The team capitalized on its position in the final zone, overcame Team Vision, and defeated RRQ in the decisive encounter.
As a result, Team Liquid's roster, consisting of Rhys "Zer0" Perry, Nicholas "Sikezz" Odum, and Nathaniel "Panic" Arthur, alongside coach Karim "Kapreme" Mardambey, finished the tournament in first place.
After nine matches, the top 10 teams finished as follows:
Team Liquid finished 11 points ahead of their closest challengers, Team Vision. Forged Wolves claimed third place after also spending a significant part of the final series in contention for the championship.
The total prize pool for the ALGS 2026 Split 2 Playoffs was $2 million. The champions received the largest share — $600,000.
The other Grand Final participants also received a share of the prize pool based on their final placements.
The Las Vegas tournament brought together 40 teams competing over several days for the championship title and a share of the prize pool. The Grand Final delivered an intense battle, with several teams reaching Match Point, but Team Liquid were the ones who managed to turn their opportunity into a victory.
The result gives the team a championship title at one of the major events of the Apex Legends Global Series season. The roster demonstrated consistency throughout the competition and successfully capitalized on its opportunity in the decisive game of the final.
As a reminder, GOG is considering bringing back physical PC game editions via a print-on-demand model.
