The French squad Team Vitality secured a 3-1 victory over the American team 100 Thieves in the lower bracket final of VALORANT Champions. With this result, Vitality secured their spot in Sunday's grand final, where they will face the Brazilian team LOUD.
This will be the third meeting between Team Vitality and LOUD at the current tournament. The French team came out on top during the group stage, but LOUD managed to get their revenge in the upper bracket final. Just like in 2025, the decisive match will be a clash between the EMEA and Americas regions. In this final, all players on the winning team will claim the Champions title for the first time in their careers.
The series against 100 Thieves began for Vitality with a loss on their own map pick, Split. However, the team managed to turn the tide of the match. On Summit, the French squad handed 100 Thieves their first loss at the tournament with a score of 13-10, largely due to Timofey "Chronicle" Khromov's highly effective play on Neon. On the following map, Lotus, rookie Ștefan "Sayonara" Mîtcu stood out, delivering an impressive performance on Chamber.
Despite the best efforts of 100 Thieves players Timotino and Cryocells to keep their team's chances alive, Vitality successfully closed out the series on Ascent with a 13-9 victory.

For Team Vitality, the upcoming final is a chance to win not only their first Champions title but also their first international VALORANT trophy overall. For Chronicle, this will be his third career final (following appearances in 2021 and last year), where he will try to finally lift the cup. Meanwhile, 100 Thieves conclude a season that has been highly successful for the American organization, highlighted by their trophies at the Esports World Cup and VCT Americas Stage 2.
