Team Vitality, T1, and Team Falcons PUBG Rosters Accept Invitations to the Games of the Future, an Event Founded and Backed by the Russian Government

The developers of PUBG: Battlegrounds have published the list of participants for the Games of the Future 2026. The information appeared on the official PUBG Esports account on X.

Among the confirmed participants are Team Vitality, T1, Team Falcons, Geekay Esports, and several other Asian teams.

The Games of the Future festival was launched by the Russian authorities in 2024 and was held in Kazan, with Vladimir Putin attending the opening ceremony. This year, the event is scheduled to take place in Astana, Kazakhstan. The organizer is listed as Phygital International, whose official website avoids mentioning the 2024 edition that was hosted in Russia.

The Games of the Future project was originally presented in 2021 by the Russian Ministry of Sport. The initiative was overseen by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, while then-Minister of Sport Oleg Matytsin was also part of the organizing committee.

As previously reported, the club founded by Oleksandr Zinchenko was unable to complete a player transfer.
