The Division Resurgence is a free to play looter shooter set in the Tom Clancy's The Division universe by Ubisoft, now officially released on iOS and Android worldwide. Following the launch of Rainbow Six Mobile, the company continues to expand its mobile gaming portfolio with another major franchise.
Players step into the role of a newly activated Division Agent and take part in a story campaign that can be played solo or in co op with up to three teammates. The events take place in New York City between the first and second games, where players must restore order amid the chaos caused by the Green Poison. Enemy factions include familiar groups like Raiders, Rikers, and Cleaners, along with a new faction called the Freemen that relies on improvised weapons and scavenging.
Alongside the campaign and open world exploration, players can engage in PvP modes such as Conflict, as well as the Dark Zone PvPvE extraction mode where valuable loot must be secured while facing threats from both NPCs and other players.
The progression system features multiple Specializations including Demolitionist, Bulwark, Field Medic, Tech Operator, and Vanguard, each offering unique weapons and gadgets. Players can freely switch between them during gameplay and customize their gear through looting, crafting, and upgrades.
Endgame content becomes available after completing the campaign, including the Legendary Challenge with increased difficulty and the Lone Wolf Challenge with progressively harder stages. A clan system is also included, allowing players to share resources and earn additional rewards. More content updates are planned post launch.
