Epic Games and Marvel have announced a new Fortnite collaboration ahead of the premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. As part of the crossover, antihero The Punisher will make his in-game debut alongside a new version of Spider-Man. The official release of the cosmetic sets in the Item Shop is scheduled for Thursday, July 30.
The Punisher is making his debut in Fortnite for the first time in the project's nearly decade-long history. His look, along with the new Spider-Man skin, is based on the cinematic appearance of the characters, with actor Jon Bernthal returning to the role of The Punisher. According to an official statement from Epic Games, the new Spider-Man outfit is inspired by all three cinematic iterations of the superhero portrayed by Tom Holland.
While the developers have only shown the skins themselves so far, accompanying cosmetic items are expected to appear as well, including back blings, pickaxes, and additional accessories. The in-game shop addition is expected within 24–48 hours ahead of the July 30 shop reset.
The expected price for the new skins is 1,500 V-Bucks each, which serves as the baseline price for most Marvel outfits and previous versions of Spider-Man.
With the release of this new outfit, the game will feature its tenth iteration of Spider-Man. The first skin of Tom Holland's character, alongside Zendaya's MJ, debuted in December 2021 during the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
