OG's Dota 2 midlaner Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen shared his thoughts on the team's recent bootcamp, explained his reluctance to play in Southeast Asia, and evaluated the life cycle of a professional esports athlete during a Twitch broadcast.

According to the player, joint practice sessions at the bootcamp benefited the updated OG roster. The team is still in the learning phase and building synergy, but this format allows the participants to fully focus on Dota 2 and detach from outside distractions, which positively impacts their level of play.

Explaining his refusal to compete in Southeast Asia, Topson noted that he does not want to play with 200 ping. He named the complete lack of a competitive scene as the main problem of this region.

Taavitsainen also dismissed the possibility of transitioning to Deadlock after ending his Dota 2 career. He believes that catching up to top players with thousands of hours of practice is already impossible. Furthermore, according to the OG midlaner, no other game can provide the same competitive thrill as Dota 2.

Reflecting on the path of an esports athlete, Topias emphasized the inevitability of a gameplay decline after 10–15 years of professional play. He stated that often the only future earning option for former pro players remains working as an internet influencer, since they do not acquire other professional skills during their careers.

It is worth noting that OG's last tournament was the BLAST SLAM VIII championship. The team finished the competition in 7th-8th place, earning $20,000 in prize money.
