  • Following a wave of backlash and numerous user complaints, the situation around the Alabuga Polytech Cup tournament has escalated. Twitch, which previously saw no violations in broadcasting the event, ultimately took action — all streamers involved in covering the tournament were banned, including the official Alabuga Polytech Cup channel.

Far Cry series to tell a new story unrelated to the games

  • In November 2025, Ubisoft, together with FX (owned by The Walt Disney Company), confirmed the development of a TV series based on Far Cry. The show will present a new story not directly tied to the game franchise.

PGL Wallachia Season 8 champion determined

  • Team BB Team won the tournament and earned $300,000. In the grand final, they defeated Aurora Gaming with a 3:0 score, while Aurora took home $175,000.

Official Baldur’s Gate 3 prequel novel about Astarion announced

  • Publisher Random House Worlds, in collaboration with Wizards of the Coast, announced an expansion of the Baldur’s Gate 3 universe through a series of print releases. The highlight is a full-length novel dedicated to one of the game’s most popular characters — the vampire elf Astarion.
