A CS2 tournament is being held in Russia, sponsored by Alabuga University, which is located in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in Tatarstan. This area is under sanctions by the EU, the United States, and the United Kingdom due to its links to the production of Shahed-136 attack drones, which Russia uses in strikes against Ukraine.

Among the participants are Russian streamers and professional players, including Dosia, ANASTAZE, poka, fANDER, and former NAVI player flamie, among others.

Despite this, the Twitch platform has not responded to the situation. According to available information, the service found no violations of its rules and allowed the tournament to be streamed without restrictions, despite multiple reports from users.
