The fifth Ukrainian Games Festival will be held on Steam from August 17 to August 24, 2026. The annual event dedicated to Ukrainian games will once again bring players new projects, trailers, demos, and special offers.
The festival organizer, publishing agency Palaye, announced that this year’s event will introduce several new formats. One of the biggest additions will be UGF Direct, a special video presentation featuring premieres of trailers from Ukrainian game developers. The showcase will premiere on August 17 at 20:00 Kyiv time, alongside the official start of the festival.
Another new feature will be a dedicated release shelf. Games launching during Ukrainian Games Festival 2026 will receive their own section on the festival’s Steam page.
Traditional activities will also return. Players can expect a discount sale, announcements of upcoming Ukrainian projects, a demo showcase with some versions available for the first time, and updates from participating developers throughout the week.
UGF 2026 will once again be supported by Valve. This allows the festival’s Steam page to appear in front of a global audience and reach more players. In 2025, the Ukrainian Games Festival page attracted more than 2.4 million Steam users.
Among the games previously featured through the festival were DDoD, The Road of Dust and Sorrow, Valkyrie Iteration, Soul Shuffler, Comix Zero, Boxville 2, and many other Ukrainian projects.
Palaye says Ukrainian Games Festival is part of the wider Ukrainian Games initiative, focused on supporting the growth of the Ukrainian gaming industry. The agency also continues developing its publishing direction and works with local studios on new projects.
