A new update has been released for Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. The first game received an updated Ukrainian localization, while the sequel now includes Ukrainian for the first time.
The update is currently available on Steam, with mobile versions and GOG set to receive it later.
The patch is part of the Infinity Engine 2.7 beta announced by Beamdog. The studio emphasized that nearly 15 years after the Enhanced Editions launched, it remains committed to supporting these classic RPGs.

The update itself is relatively modest, focusing on long term stability, modern platform support, and a few quality of life improvements such as enhanced cloud saving. Even so, the announcement has been warmly received by fans and has drawn praise from Larian Studios, the team behind Baldur's Gate 3.

Beamdog has not confirmed whether the update will arrive on consoles, but it has reassured players that version 2.7 should not break existing mods.
