VALORANT has been added to the official secondary school curriculum in the Philippines. Information about the new initiative surfaced on X after a user shared pages from the Matatag Curriculum, which was approved by the Philippine Department of Education.
For 10th-grade students, educators have introduced lessons focused on "promoting digital well-being through VALORANT." The module is part of a broader curriculum that explores digital health and esports as tools for supporting personal well-being and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

The full curriculum also allows schools to choose from a wide range of games when implementing the program. Other titles listed as potential educational games include League of Legends, Dota, Hearthstone, StarCraft II, Rocket League, Minecraft, FIFA, PUBG, and Tekken.
