More details have emerged about why Virtus pro did not qualify for ESL Pro League Season 22. Earlier information only suggested that they were facing issues with medical insurance.

According to sources, the organization issued insurance policies for its players through the Russian bank “T-Bank,” which is under European Union sanctions.

This led to a refusal of service, which ultimately had a major impact on Virtus.pro’s inability to attend the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025.
