The semifinal day of IEM Rio 2026 has come to an end — now all that remains is the grand final and the third-place match.
FURIA and Falcons have dropped to the third-place match: they lost close series to their opponents and will now fight for a top-3 finish.
Spirit have advanced to the final and now have a chance to win their first title of 2026 without their former captain chopper. Vitality have also made the final — for them, a win at IEM Rio 2026 would be another trophy. Moreover, they could secure their second consecutive ESL Grand Slam season and claim an additional $1,000,000 in gold bars.
