The second day of competition at IEM Rio 2026 has concluded, and we now know the teams that have been eliminated from the tournament as well as those that have advanced to the playoffs.
Eliminated: Liquid, Legacy, Passion UA, and Gentle Mates. Each of these teams finished in 13th–16th place and earned only $4,000.
Playoffs: Vitality, MOUZ, Falcons, and FURIA have secured their spots in the decisive stage. These teams will still play seeding matches — either for a direct semifinal spot or to start from the quarterfinals.
