Tomorrow, August 18, Battlefield 6 will launch a major collaboration with Top Gun. The update will add the Wake Island map, two-seat fighter jets, and new Carrier Strike and Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep modes.
Alongside the update, characters from the Top Gun franchise will appear in the game: Lieutenant Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw, played by Miles Teller; Lieutenant Robert «Bob» Floyd, played by Lewis Pullman; and Admiral Solomon «Warlock» Bates, played by Charles Parnell.
Also on August 18, a long free trial period for Battlefield 6 will begin. All progress and unlocked content will be saved to the player’s account after purchasing the full version of the game.
However, to access the trial version, players will need to download REDSEC, Battlefield 6’s battle royale mode. The free period will last until August 25.
