Xbox and Ubisoft have announced an expansion of their partnership. Owners of digital Xbox versions of select Ubisoft games can now claim the PC versions through Ubisoft Connect at no extra cost.
The offer includes 13 games:
Players simply need to update Ubisoft Connect to the latest version, after which the games will gradually appear in their library. Existing owners of eligible Xbox digital editions will receive access as part of a rollout running through August 4.
Ubisoft has also expanded its catalog on the Xbox PC app by adding premium editions and selected add on content for a wide range of titles, including Assassin's Creed Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Skull and Bones, and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
«For most games, the edition and DLC content you own on Xbox will also be available on PC at no additional cost. The only exceptions are consumable items, such as in game currency or one time use content», — the company said.
