Today, June 9, the final matches of IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 2 in CS2 were played. As a result, all teams that have advanced to the next stage of the tournament are now known.
FUT Esports and Spirit completed Stage 2 without suffering a single defeat. G2, 9z Team, and BB each recorded one loss but still advanced with a 3–1 record.
On the final day of Stage 2, Monte, B8, and Legacy secured the remaining spots in the third stage.
The tournament run came to an end for TYLOO, BIG, paiN Gaming, M80, MIBR, Astralis, FlyQuest, and GamerLegion.
As a result, all 16 teams that will compete in Stage 3 have now been confirmed. The following teams received direct invitations to Stage 3:
IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to June 21 in Cologne, Germany. The tournament features a prize pool of $1.25 million.
