In Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, developers are shifting the combat system toward a more action oriented style. The Animus will also be updated, along with tailing and eavesdropping missions. According to a leaked Resynced presentation, it was also revealed that the voice actor for Edward Kenway from the original Black Flag has returned for the project.

The combat system has been fully reworked to feel much faster and more dynamic. Players will use dual swords, pistols, and the hidden blade, with each tool playing a distinct role. Attacks are now smoother and quicker, with combo chains introduced.

Perfect parries will trigger instant executions, and players can extend these into a chain of up to four finishers. Environmental interactions will also be more important, allowing use of walls, ledges, and surrounding objects. Players will need to constantly track enemies and use their full arsenal effectively.

The system also introduces a redesigned HUD with two quick-access mini menus in the lower corners of the screen, enabling fast weapon and item switching. Compared to the original Black Flag, Resynced appears significantly faster and more fluid in combat.

As a Reminder, Cyberpunk 2077 Night City 2045 officially revealed.
