Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, showcasing the visual upgrades of the updated version of the iconic 2013 pirate adventure on PlayStation 5 Pro. The remake is launching next week, and the developers focused on highlighting the advantages of Sony’s most powerful console.
On PlayStation 5 Pro, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will support modern visual technologies, including global illumination, improved reflections, and more detailed shadows. Thanks to the PSSR 2 upscaling technology, the game will be able to reach over 100 FPS, while the console’s powerful hardware will allow visuals to be displayed at resolutions of up to 8K.
The game will also support features available on the standard PlayStation 5, including DualSense controller haptic feedback, 3D audio, and instant loading powered by the console’s fast SSD.
All of these upgrades are designed to provide a more immersive journey through Edward Kenway’s story and bring the Caribbean world back with the highest possible visual quality.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced launches on July 9 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. More details about the updated version of “Black Flag” can be seen in the atmospheric trailer featuring a walk through the redesigned Havana.
