Blizzard Entertainment has released a gameplay trailer for the new update Reign of Talon for Overwatch. The patch is set to go live today, April 14, at 21:00 Kyiv time.
A new hero named Sierra will be introduced. She is the former head of security at Watchpoint: Grand Mesa and is equipped with a rifle and a combat drone named Dorothy.
The update also brings a new in-game event, “Operation: Grand Mesa,” running until May 4. It focuses on Sierra’s backstory and her confrontation with the Talon organization.
Additionally, the MVP voting system is making a return. It now features full 3D hero models and allows players to join a shared voice chat between both teams during the “Play of the Game” highlight.
The Antarctic Peninsula map has also been updated, with changes to the Icebreaker, Research Station, and Underground areas to improve gameplay flow and visibility.
As a reminder, KRAFTON and the Korea e-Sports Association recently signed a three-year agreement to develop school esports.
