BNK FEARX secured a convincing 3-1 victory over KT Rolster in the first semifinal of the Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026. With this win, the team became the first grand finalist, while KT Rolster concluded their 2026 competitive season in 3rd-4th place.
The all-Korean semifinal derby was marked by a high tempo, but FEARX's aggressive early game proved insurmountable for KT. The main driving force for the winners was the team's jungler, Jeon "Raptor" Hyeok-seok. In the very first game, his constant pressure on Lee Sin created space for Lee "Taeyoon" Tae-yoon (Yunara), allowing FEARX to dominate in teamfights. KT Rolster were only able to answer on the second map, successfully punishing their opponents for over-aggression and snowballing their advantage.
The key moment of the series was game three. FEARX surprised with an unorthodox draft, picking a jungle Jayce, Jhin, and a support Camille. Despite a narrow margin for error against KT's traditional draft, FEARX completely dictated the pace of the game through precise macro rotations. Raptor delivered a flawless performance on the atypical jungle Jayce, finishing the map with an 8/0/8 KDA and earning the MVP title.
Game four became a formality and ended in a rout. Using Vi, Raptor secured total map control for FEARX right from the laning phase. The team left their opponents no chances, closing out the game at the 28-minute mark with a 10.6k gold lead, a 26-11 kill score, and an 11-1 turret advantage.
The Demacia Cup 2026 Grand Final will take place on October 17 at the JD Esports Center in Beijing. For the championship title, BNK FEARX will face the winner of the second semifinal between Team WE (the last representative of the Chinese LPL league in the tournament) and HANJIN BRION, who aim to set up another all-Korean clash in the final.
As a Reminder, GTA 6 Will Feature an Advanced Character Sweat System
