The Martial Monk outfit became available in Crimson Desert with update 1.13. Designed entirely from cloth, this armor set is ideal for players who enjoy unarmed combat and want to build a monk-inspired character. Keep in mind that most of the equipment cannot be collected until you reach Chapter 9 of the main storyline.

Every Piece of the Martial Monk Set

The complete outfit consists of four items:

  • Martial Artist's Cloth Garb

Earned by finishing Goyen's Advice Training challenge Steel Grip Against the Chest, where you must eliminate three enemies within one minute using only wrestling techniques.

  • Martial Monk's Cloth Gloves

Reward for completing Path of the Disciple during the Six Statues and the Beast questline in Chapter 9.

  • Martial Monk's Cloth Robe

Awarded after defeating T'rukan during the True Strength quest in Chapter 9.

Players who had already met the unlock requirements before update 1.13 will automatically receive the corresponding gear in their Private Storage after loading their existing save.

Unlocking the Martial Artist's Cloth Garb

To earn this chest piece, complete the Steel Grip Against the Chest challenge from Goyen's Advice Training. The required Sealed Abyss Artifact can be found west of the Sanctum of Penitence, close to the southeastern side of Pororin Village.

Only wrestling abilities count toward the objective, so rely on moves such as Clothesline, Body Slam, and Dropkick throughout the challenge. Equipping gloves instead of standard weapons helps prevent accidental weapon attacks. переключитися на рукавички в колесі зброї, щоб випадково не застосувати звичайну атаку.

Unlocking the Martial Monk's Gloves and Boots

Continue the campaign until Chapter 9: The Sage of the Desert, where the Six Statues and the Beast storyline becomes available.

Head to Jijeong Temple, located south of Demeniss, and complete the quests Morning Fog, Jijeong Temple in Chaos, and Path to Enlightenment. Finishing these missions unlocks Path of the Disciple, which rewards both the Martial Monk's Cloth Gloves and Martial Monk's Cloth Boots.

Unlocking the Martial Monk's Robe

The robe is obtained by defeating T'rukan during the True Strength quest. This mission becomes available immediately after completing Path of the Disciple, so no additional requirements are needed.

Since both the Martial Monk's Cloth Robe and the Martial Artist's Cloth Garb occupy the chest slot, you can only equip one of them at any given time.
