Cyberpunk TCG Sets All-Time Kickstarter Record, Raising Over $25 Million

A new trading card game (TCG) set in the Cyberpunk universe, officially approved by CD Projekt RED, has завершed its Kickstarter campaign with a stunning result. The project by WeirdCo not only met its goal but became the most successful gaming campaign in the platform’s history.

The campaign launched in March and surpassed the $1 million mark within minutes. By the time funding closed, the total had exceeded $25 million.

The minimum pledge to receive a set of two starter decks was $49. Backers who supported the game on Kickstarter will gain access to exclusive items and limited-edition cards featuring fan-favorite characters such as:

• V (Streetkid);
• Lucy Kushinada and David Martinez (from the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners);
• Rebecca.

The previous record was held by Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere RPG, which raised $15.1 million in 2024.

As a reminder, the development of Far Cry 7 is currently going through a difficult period and remains far from release.
