South Korean esports organization DRX has published its financial report for 2025. Despite an overall increase in company revenue, the organization’s net profit saw a sharp decline.
The company’s revenue grew to approximately ₩12.85 billion ($8.87 million) in 2025, compared to ₩11.37 billion ($7.85 million) in 2024, mainly driven by increased income from team operations and its esports academy business. However, this growth did not translate into higher profits.
DRX’s net profit fell to just ₩9.9 million ($6.8 thousand), compared to ₩103.2 million ($71,208) in the previous year, representing a decline of more than 90%. Operating profit also dropped significantly to ₩360.9 million ($249,021), which is less than half of the 2024 figure.
The main reason for this contrast was a sharp increase in expenses related to team maintenance and management. Total operating costs rose by more than ₩2 billion ($1.38 million).
