The release of one of the most anticipated games in recent years, Grand Theft Auto 6, is set for November 19.

Industry analysts predict that more than 45 million copies will be sold at launch, while insiders claim the game could generate over $1 billion in preorder revenue within the first hour. The anticipation is so high that some companies are reportedly planning to close their offices on release day due to the large number of employees requesting time off.

As gamers prepare for lengthy play sessions, however, medical experts are warning about the potential health risks associated with prolonged gaming marathons.

According to a report by medical expert Annelies Caden for the Feel30 platform, extended and uncontrolled GTA 6 gaming sessions may negatively affect men's health. The concern is not the game itself, but the combination of lifestyle habits that often accompany long gaming sessions, which together may contribute to reduced testosterone production.

The report highlights several common behaviors that can have a negative impact on hormone levels:

  • Chronic sleep deprivation and staying up late.
  • Frequent consumption of fast food and takeout meals.
  • Excessive intake of energy drinks.
  • Lack of physical activity and spending prolonged periods indoors.

Experts emphasize that a short-term change in routine is unlikely to cause serious health issues. However, they encourage players to remember their body's basic needs by getting enough sleep, eating balanced meals, staying active, and taking regular breaks.

Reminder: ultimate has left Team Liquid's active Counter-Strike 2 roster.
