Fortnite has launched its annual festive event celebrating the game's ninth anniversary. Although the original title launched in July 2017, Epic Games celebrates its birthday specifically on September 26 — the official launch date of the Battle Royale mode. The event will run in-game until October 1, 2026.
As part of the celebration, themed items have returned to the general loot pool: Birthday Presents, the Firework Flare Gun, and Balloons. Additionally, a Birthday Sprite is expected to arrive in the game on September 26.
Players can take on a special lineup of birthday quests to earn XP and unlock three free rewards:
The list of missions involves various actions: dancing, eliminating opponents while aiming down sights, throwing presents, eating slices of cake at Named Locations, deploying balloons, landing headshots, searching containers, visiting different locations, and thanking the bus driver.
Additionally, by using the code 9YEARS in the admin panel, players can receive the 9th Birthday Spray for free. All events and rewards will be available until the event concludes on October 1.
