After the opening matches of the lower bracket playoffs at VALORANT Masters Santiago 2026, the first teams to leave the tournament at this stage are now known.
Gentle Mates went through the group stage without a single loss, but failed in the playoffs. M8 lost to NS RedForce (0:2) in the upper bracket quarterfinals, and then were defeated by All Gamers (1:2) in the first round of the lower bracket.
FURIA started directly from the playoffs, but was eliminated after their first two matches. First, the team lost to Paper Rex (1:2), and then suffered another defeat against BBL Esports (1:2).
Gentle Mates and FURIA finished their run at the championship in 7th–8th place and earned $35,000 each.
VALORANT Masters Santiago 2026 is taking place from February 28 to March 15 in Santiago, Chile. The tournament’s prize pool is $1 million.
