On October 18, 2026, Riot Games officially introduced Hush, the new agent coming to VALORANT. Her debut took place during VALORANT Champions Shanghai, with the character’s cinematic trailer shown after the opening ceremony ahead of the tournament’s grand final.

Hush will become a new Duelist in VALORANT and will join the game on October 27. Riot identifies her as Agent 31, although she will become the 30th available agent in the game, as the mysterious Agent 8 has still not been introduced. As a result, the number of Duelists in the game will increase to nine.

The new agent comes from Guangdong, China, and will become the third agent from the country after Sage and Iso. Her abilities are built around telekinesis, mobility, and space control.

Hush — The Agent from Guangdong

Riot made Hush stand out not only through her abilities but also through her appearance.

The agent has long, light-colored hair with pink and purple undertones, straight bangs, and bright pink eyes. She wears predominantly dark clothing with elements inspired by Chinese culture. Glowing pink geometric fragments float around Hush, emphasizing her supernatural abilities.

Her design combines a modern tactical style with traditional influences. As a result, Hush has one of the most unusual visual designs among VALORANT’s recent agents.

Passive Ability — “Telekinesis”

One of Hush’s main features is her passive ability, “Telekinesis.”

It allows the agent to interact with objects from a distance simply by aiming at them.

Hush can pick up weapons, activate switches, and interact with the Spike without directly approaching the object.

For an ordinary player, this might seem like a small detail, but in competitive play, such a mechanic could potentially open up new possibilities.

For example, Hush could retrieve a weapon from a dangerous position or interact with the Spike while remaining at a distance from it.

This ability is what most clearly sets Hush apart from other Duelists.

C — “Move to Anchor”

Hush’s first active ability allows her to place an anchor at a selected location and move to it.

Interestingly, the agent can use the ability while airborne. In this case, she briefly hovers in place before moving to the placed anchor.

This mechanic could allow Hush to create unexpected routes for attacks, quickly change her position, or escape dangerous situations.

For a Duelist whose role is to create space for the team, this kind of mobility could become one of her main tools.

Q — “Flash”

Q allows Hush to launch a controllable projectile whose direction depends on the movement of the crosshair.

The player can determine when the projectile detonates. Recasting the ability causes the projectile to explode and blind players within the area of effect.

As a result, Hush’s flash differs from conventional abilities in VALORANT by giving the player additional control over its trajectory and detonation timing.

This could make it particularly useful for independently clearing positions before entering a site.

E — “Displacement”

Another unusual ability in Hush’s kit is “Displacement.”

The agent creates a controllable projectile that can be guided using the crosshair. After colliding with a surface or a group of enemies, it stuns opponents and affects their positioning.

Importantly, hitting targets can restore the ability’s charge.

In team fights, this could become a powerful tool for disrupting enemy positions and creating an opening for an attack.

X — Ultimate Ability

Hush’s ultimate continues the concept of controllable projectiles.

The agent launches a projectile in the direction of her crosshair and can then activate its detonation.

The explosion launches all characters within the area of effect into the air.

This opens up opportunities for a variety of team combinations. Opponents lose their normal position on the ground, potentially giving Hush’s teammates an opportunity to quickly launch an attack.

Riot has already shown this effect in the trailer, so the ultimate could become one of the most recognizable features of the new Duelist.

Hush Could Have Looked Completely Different

Before Hush was officially revealed, numerous leaks about her abilities appeared online.

Earlier reports suggested that she could copy allies’ abilities, move through walls, and even use different ultimate abilities depending on which side of the match she was playing. However, after the official reveal, these reports turned out to be only partially accurate.

As a result, Riot effectively kept Hush’s actual ability kit secret until her official presentation.

The final reveal turned out to be much more straightforward: Hush has mobility, a flash, space-control tools, and a unique ability to interact with objects from a distance.

What Could Hush Change in VALORANT?

Hush’s ability kit could make her one of the most versatile Duelists in the game.

She can create space on her own, reposition herself, blind opponents, stun them, and even interact with weapons and the Spike from a distance.

At the same time, her mechanics may require significantly more precision and map awareness from the player. Proper use of the anchor or telekinesis could create situations that opponents simply do not expect.

That is why the biggest question following Hush’s reveal is not how unusual she is, but how powerful that uniqueness will prove to be in real matches.

When Will Hush Arrive in VALORANT?

Hush will become available to all players on October 27, 2026, as part of Season 26 // Act VI.

Players will be able to unlock the agent through her Recruitment Event by earning XP. Hush can also be unlocked for 10,000 Kingdom Credits, purchased for 1,000 VP, or accessed through an active Xbox Game Pass subscription linked to a Riot Account.

Hush’s arrival will increase the total number of available VALORANT agents to 30, while the number of Duelists will rise to nine. At the same time, her official number will remain Agent 31, as Agent 8 still does not have a playable character in the game.

Hush will be one of the most interesting new VALORANT characters of 2026. Riot has combined telekinesis, mobility, and space control in her kit, while her unusual ability to interact with objects could open up new tactical possibilities for both regular players and the professional scene.

Now all that remains is to wait until October 27, when Hush reaches players’ hands and we find out whether her abilities can truly change the VALORANT meta.

As a reminder: Team Vitality defeats 100 Thieves and advances to the VALORANT Champions grand final.
