At Gamescom 2026, Krafton, the developer of the popular battle royale PUBG: Battlegrounds, officially announced its new project — PUBG Ded.Net. This is a multiplayer first-person shooter set in the universe of the original game, but with a radically different approach to gameplay and visual style.
Unlike the familiar militaristic aesthetic of PUBG, the new title stands out with a bright 1990s punk style. The game is set in the fictional region of Cascadia. The debut trailer, accompanied by the dynamic track "Jesus Built My Hotrod" by Ministry, showcased neon colors, extravagant outfits, and spectacular dual-wielding gunplay.
The main feature of PUBG Ded.Net's gameplay is the combination of classic shooter mechanics with roguelite progression.
