Well-known French streamer and insider KRL has reported that esports organization Gentle Mates is planning to exit the professional CS2 scene. He shared the information on his X account.
According to KRL, the M8 roster is attracting interest from several organizations, with Heretics, KOI, and GiantX all prepared to buy out the lineup. None of these clubs currently operate a CS2 roster.
Gentle Mates launched its CS2 division in August 2025 after signing the Iberian Soul roster. During that period, the team failed to achieve any notable results.
