Data miners, including insider abyssal_mlbb, have revealed the first concept assets and splash art for the upcoming Lapu-Lapu "Aurora Gaming PH" Champion skin in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The cosmetic set was created to honor esports organization Aurora Gaming PH's victory at the M7 World Championship.
Most fans expected the team to pick the Mage hero Aurora due to the obvious similarity with the organization's name. However, the squad decided to honor their star EXP Laner, Edward "Edward" Dapadap, who earned three MVP awards in the Swiss stage and four in the playoffs. The Fighter hero Lapu-Lapu was chosen as Edward's signature hero and one of the most sought-after picks in the current meta.

According to the leaks, the skin will be part of a themed Battle Pass. Along with it, players will be able to unlock exclusive team attributes: Recall, Spawn, and Elimination effects. Meanwhile, details regarding the Finals MVP skin for Dylan "Light" Catipon (confirmed for the hero Grock) are missing from this leak.
The official release date has not yet been confirmed, but the set is expected to arrive between mid-October and late November 2026. Currently, the game is also hosting events celebrating MLBB's 10th anniversary.
