Insomniac Games has released a new update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to celebrate the upcoming premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The patch introduces a brand-new suit for Peter Parker based on the outfit Tom Holland will wear in the film, which premieres worldwide on July 31.
The update also adds another costume inspired by MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, the upcoming fighting game that Sony is preparing for release on PlayStation 5 and PC.
In addition to the new cosmetic content, the developers have implemented several technical improvements. The PlayStation 5 version now supports the latest iteration of Sony’s PSSR upscaling technology and includes a new power-saving mode.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is currently available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 5.
Insomniac also reminded fans that its next superhero title, Marvel's Wolverine, is scheduled to launch on September 15.
